In America you can get a large peperoni pizza for $5.00. We call this a "Hot Carl" here in CaliWali (California for you outsiders). The best thing too is that you dont even need to order your food, just walk in and its already hot and ready to go.

I come from southeastern New England, and I grew up on Greek pizza with Portuguese toppings. Chourico (not "chorizo") or linguica is a god-tier pizza topping. Pepperoni is fucking irrelevant here. Even most chain pizzerias used to stock chourico and linguica from local suppliers because it's so popular. I feel bad for people who have never tried this.

The other one is coffee milk, which is pretty contained to RI and southeastern MA. If I go to a breakfast place halfway to Boston, they already have no idea what it is.

Raised in Chicago, my parents were from Philadelphia, and my dad would bring back boxes of pork roll and scrapple whenever he was there on business. Love this stuff but impossible to find here, except for one independent grocer across town. Every six months i go just to get my fix of the stuff. Pork roll sandwiches for a week straight.
