What's your go to sushi? I've been big on insect sushi I've lost 60 pounds in just 5 months! I used to be squeamish about it but I read into the benefits of Japanese cuisines, it's how they live so long. Some compare it to the holy grail, elixir of life.

Have you tried sushi or insect sushi today?

It seems like a clever way to introduce people to alternate sources of protein. You’re obviously just eating bugs in rice, but I would try it desu.

My favourite is fugu sashi, though I haven't had any sushi today.

My go-to sushi has to be unagi nigiri and tamago nigiri. I love the sweet fluffy egg and the smoky grilled eel.

Tons of conveyor belt sushi places in Japan have them on the menu, primarily for children coming in with their parents. It's a form of yoshoku, or adapted western food.

As much as I want to love Japanese food, I can't. Outside of Ramen and Okonomiyaki most of the food has the same flavor. It's not bad by no means but it isn't isn't on my bucket list when I think of foods to try out. Why is Japanese food taste the same?

Unagi by far.
Not a huge fan of raw fish in general

They use soy sauce, dashi and sake in pretty much everything and are extremely autistic about muh tradition so they don't experiment. I like Japanese food but I think I would get bored of it really fast if I ate it every day.

I actually liked this place since its so close to my house but...

>literally the McDonalds of Sushi
>large chain in the US and Japan
>Japanese locations
>$1 a plate
>Us location
>$2.25 a plate
This irks me now, they're still really good though and the price is still reasonable. But why is it so much cheaper in Japan?

Boomers and FAGApedes are coping with the fact that the planet cannot survive their diets of factory farmed red meat 3x a day (broken only by an occasional trip rolling coal 12 miles to the nearest Jeezum Chicky sos they can try and defeat the homos)

The way property works in Japan where they can just buy the space permenantly it is much cheaper than paying some jew $25-30k a month.
