Butterworth.

Growing up I always went to those various franchise haircut places, like Great Clips and shit like that. Never anywhere actually cool. As a college kid I said fuck it one day and went to a real barber to get a proper cut. The place was pretty busy and I spent a while sitting on a bench waiting for my turn, and during that time I got to watch a man get his hair cut and then retrieve a canvas bag from which he pulled several mason jars of home made maple syrup, that he'd made from scratch including tapping the trees himself. He and the barber did some bartering and in the end the man paid 2 mason jars of syrup in lieu of cash for his haircut.

My only regret is that I don't walk around with jars of syrup to pay people with.

It's not a product from Canada. It's imitation maple syrup which tastes like industrial waste.

I may have to do a showdown between Log Cabin and Hungry Jack. Since they weren't on the same level as Butterworth or Jemima but have managed to develop a cult following all their own.
