The real issues are that once you buy enough good quality cheese (f you can actually find full fat low moisture mozzarella) and toppings to go with it, you've paid as much or more than ordering one plus you need to at the very least invest in a baking steel/stone or some ceramic tiles to make at home oven decent enough for good crust development.

I get a pound of low moisture whole milk mozzarella at winco for like $5. A $3 can of tomatoes makes enough sauce for 4 pizzas. Flour and yeast cost nothing.
