Has anyone else seen the slow attempt at Beer-bro-ifying the wine industry? I was watching the documentary Tin City last night, and I very much got the vibe that it was trying to make wine feel like this rustic, industrial, Detroit-bro sort of beer thing.

Not necessarily a bad thing, I guess. The wine industry is kinda infamously up its own ass.

wine's got nothing on craft beerfaggotry. craft beer took all the external trappings that look "pretentious" because they don't know what they're used for, and haphazardly slapped it on beer drinking to make it look "upscale". literally the dictionary definition of pretentiousness

This is the most accurate description I've heard of the craft beer industry in a long time, seriously. The more I think on it, the more you're right - all the dumbshit attempts at vintage vibes, the outfits, the decor, etc.
