Fatfu/ck/ here who has been exercising and eating better. I've already lost 20 pounds doing what I'm doing (eating more fruits and vegetables, eating less fried foods, cutting out soda), but I still feel like I'm doing something wrong. It feels like I'm not eating enough at times but then at other times like I'm eating too much. I'm also at high risk for diabetes and have high blood pressure. What is a good meal plan for someone like me? I've been doing a bowl of oatmeal with some kind of fruit in it for breakfast, a peanut butter sandwich on 100% whole wheat bread with a fruit and either spinach, kale, or a mix of both for lunch, and for dinner I will eat a pan fried seasoned chicken breast with some kind of vegetable. If I get hungry throughout the day I'll usually eat an apple or something. I'm just trying not to get the beetus bros. Help a guy out.

It sounds like you're already on the right track. Obesity related problems like diabetes and blood pressure are almost a non-concern once you reach a normal weight. Don't worry about not eating enough while losing weight, as long as you keep up protein, vitamins, and mineral intake nothing bad will happen. Just keep doing what you're doing

Whole wheat bread isn't good for you at all.

Just fast do a two day fast every week to start, find your tdee and use a calorie tracking app. Eat at a deficit. Eat more protein than it suggests and less fat and carbs. Still eat them though just less

sounds like a decent start. fruit is high calorie/sugar so just be aware that eating lots of fruit when you're hungry because it's "healthy" might be counterproductive. peanut butter is pretty calorie/fat dense too but whatever. your dinner sounds good.

it's all about consistency so if you keep up your exercising and minimize your shit meals/alcohol consumption you should keep getting in better shape. good luck anon

Maybe try tracking caloires for a bit and make sure your total for each day is similar? Also dropping snacking helps some people, as it puts them on a more predictable eating schedule.

Keep doing what your doing. I would add a snack like almonds, pistachios, hardboiled eggs, yogurt (low / no sugar), cottage cheese & fruit, etc. Break your lunch into 2 meals, so you’re eat 4 meals spread out through the day + that snack if you need it. Drink lots of water. Like ridiculous amounts of water.
