I think the problem with corn dogs is that nobody bothers to do it right. Street food and fair vendors always buy the cheapest shit. Most people that eat them at home just do the frozen kind, and most of those will microwave it before they bake it. But when you have a good dog or sausage dipped in homemade jalapeno batter, immediately fried and slathered with mustard, corn dogs are top tier.
