A kitchen is one of those places where you get so busy you forget about time, and then when shit slows down and you look at the clock, 3 hours have passed and yet it seems like maybe 20 minutes at most.

You've got to find the right kitchen, though, as the standard today is to hire cheap illegal labor, and FUCK those motherfuckers because they hate you and just want your job.

I was a dishwasher for 2 years, shit sucked. Our old kitchen supervisor hired a literal retard as a 2nd dishwasher and I had to put up with him for half a year before finally quitting since I wasn't being trained on anything else. Only thing good about that job was the staff, sexy waitresses and free food/drinks.
