First of all OP's isn't raw, it's blue rare. Bacteria and shit don't really penetrate beef meat, so it should be perfectly safe to eat. That doesn't mean it's appetizing though, I personally have no interest in such uncooked meat. I don't enjoy the texture of it at all. I'm not a huge fan of raw fish either, it's just okay to me. Most meat though, and most fish, carries a risk if you're eating it raw. You want to make sure you're using good quality shit if you're going to eat or serve it raw. People that "eat raw sushi all the time" aren't just buying random fish from their local supermarket and eating it raw.
