He said optimal ratio. If a good quality spirit gets you drunk quickly and tastes good, that gives you the same ratio as malt liquor, which gets you drunk slowly and tastes terrible. That means the good & fast (or bad & slow) ratio can't be optimal.

The optimal ratio is obviously good & slow, so my vote is for red wine.

In terms of tasting "Good", a long island ice tea, or rum+coke (Do 50-50 ratio) will get you drunk real quick and taste pretty good

First of all, why do you ever need something to get "drunk quickly" at all? Alcohol really isn't medicinal. If you can't feel effects from alcohol immediately after swallowing half a drink of any serving of alcohol, something might be wrong with you. Full stomach, or way too much tolerance built up.
What you enjoy drinking is the only correct answer. The more like full spirits alone, would be the highest proof, so yea, least amount of sips or shootable, but, the differences are so minor. Drink what you enjoy. Alcohol should enhance something else enjoyable, from food pairing to a pretty view in a nice location to a festive or relaxing occasion. In other words, slow down, stupid.

OP, drink screwdrivers. If you buy even semi-decent vodka (e.g., not bottom shelf), you can mix half and half and still almost chug them. The orange juice hides the vodka almost perfectly

It depends on what you think is tasty, but cocktails and mixed drinks are usually the way to go. Even particularly strong alcohol can be masked with the right mixers.
If you want to go for straight alcohol, get yourself some good liqueurs. Most of them are sweet, but I’ve had a variety of flavors from spicy to sour to bitter, etc.
My personal choice is d’aristi. It’s a honey licorice flavored liqueur that is almost tea-like, and very sweet.
