And it's one of the most nutritious things you can eat. What diseases are associated with liver? Even if it filters toxins does not mean it stores them so it is perfectly safe to eat.

liver tastes too ferric for me. I never liked it growing up and unfortunately still don't. The mealy texture doesn't help either, though that may just be method of preparation.
