I recently made chili con carne without beans and was told it was the best they had ever eaten. Why are people so fussy about having to add one or two 15 oz cans of kidney beans? Do they think it's going to make it healthier? Maybe to increase the amount of ingredients used and have more food overall? I love beans but they don't HAVE to be with the dish.
