It’s not that bad. When I first heard of it, I got 4 beers, and 4 sticks of butter, and just melted the butter into the beer. That was kinda gross and I was a little sick when I finished them. But made correctly it’s great. I’m actually sipping on one now

I'm worried it'll actually taste like butter. It's the kinda thing that the name sounds wholesome and nice but then you look at it and can see the fat in it, and suddenly the reality sets in. I like the taste of butter like most people, but as a drink, that just sounds sickly.

Took the wife and kids to Universal last summer. Spent a day at Hairy Pooter world. Kids loved it, wife and I endured it. Figured I'd try a butter beer. Basically root beer with a buttery flavor and about a pound of sugar. 12 dollars, IIRC. Total shit.
