Can someone explain to me the craze about hot sauces? I bought a """fruity""" one that someone recommended and the only thing I can taste is fucking vinegar.

Do I have to cook this sauce somehow to get rid of the vinegar or is vinegar supposed to be part of it? All I want is the fucking heat, I don't want to taste fucking vinegar in my food.

For myself, its the sauce that comes on McDonalds chicken sandwich.

Find a fermented hot sauce. It will still be tangy though from the bacteria. Or buy powder. Don’t buy chili powder for making chili though it isn’t hot. Buy cayenne powder or some other type of pepper. You can buy dried pods too and snip of flakes into your food or use a cheap coffee grinder to grind them up.

sweet baby ray's louisiana hot sauce is the one i use most, but for certain things sriracha, tabasco, or a habanero sauce are better. i don't think you need any more hot sauces than those to cover all the bases
