Would you ever consider eating "exotic" wild animals? (foxes, crocodiles, wolf puppies, giant salamanders, snakes, rats, peacocks, porcupines, koalas and game meats)

game meat in the US isn't exotic, just uncommon.

Crocodile tastes good cunt
I'd try salamanders and peacock tho

venison used to be common ~70s, but its rare now even though deer population is out of control. They stopped letting people sell their game meat unless its been approved by a bunch of regulations first, as opposed to just approving the hunter/butcher... kind of retarded

I already tried slugs, frogs and coypu. I'd ate anything, but (mayby) these big white worms and cockroaches.
t. not even a french guy

I've heard these kind of restaurant serve only 10 kind max. They make some slight twist in texture to make you believe you are eating another animal

I'd like to skewer up some axolotls over a campfire, like marshmellows.

Your list is too long and varied. Some of that shit I've eaten before (snake meat is super benign), some of it I'd probably be fine with (I'd figure croc or salamander meat is close enough to snakes to be okay, and I don't see why anyone wouldn't eat a peacock) but I'm not particularly interested in eating rats.

Can confirm that croc is top-tier. Kangaroo isn't bad either, but more often than not it'll be really tough. Witchetty grubs taste okay but are disgusting to eat; imagine biting something cold and wriggling about the size of your index finger (can be much bigger) and having a slightly sweet bug-fluid fill your mouth. I've seen multiple people vomit on consumption.

are you not following what's happening in china?

Snakes are actually pretty tasty. The meat is mild, chewy, and tastes great roasted - would probably be great in a stew or noodle soup dish. Then again, I ate fresh caught, and well cleaned and prepared rattlesnake.

Not a Chinese toilet filth worm.

Peacocks are what roman elites ate, I devour a peacock

>> No.13572968

Yeah I'd try pretty much everything as long as there aren't too many strange rotting and fermentation processes involved.

>venison used to be common ~70s, but its rare

I'm from the south and venison isn't rare at all. I get it for free from friends of mine all the time. Pretty much everyone down here tries alligator/crocodile when they visit the Gulf Coast. I was confused when I met an exchange student from Germany in high school who was freaked out at the idea of eating croc.

And I grew up in a white collar suburb, so I'm not a redneck by any means.
