It means it's in compliance with The National Organization for Sad Frozen Meals' standards for baseline lasagna with meat sauce, as opposed to "irregular" variants of the dish, which may include up to 10% sawdust or 3.5% dead hooker, whichever contains less cocaine, and may be rolled, folded like origami, or just smashed haphazardly into the dish as opposed to the traditional layering

For me it's:

Pretty good & cheap (~$1.25 per from where I'm at) and has 23g of protein so it's a good lazy food if you're a lifter. I also like their fish stick one because it's tasty but not a lot of protein

I eat out really often, and without much notice some of the time. Having some microwave items help out on the off night. I do microwave my own carefully tucked away leftovers and baked goods, but I also buy some of the same items for my garage fridge too.
Publix steam-in-bag brown rice and Bird's Eye wild rice with veggies blend. Both instantly make an egg or leftover meat into stir fried rice.
Steam in bag edamame + sea salt, hot with a beer, or cooked and parked in the fridge for a later snack cold.
Goya cuban style tamales + Cholula hot sauce. Make 2 at a time.
Goya ham croquetas, pan fried with a little olive oil. Enjoy on crackers or smashed into the middle of a panini, like a croqueta preparada.
Publix maduro plantains
Wal-mart Chicken Tortilla soup, even has a packet of crunchy strips. Doesn't need a thing, has lime and cilantro already in it.
MichelAngelos Eggplant parm + toasted sub roll + provolone = quick dinner
Boston's Finagel a bagels, but they're the best. Thaw 50%, then toast.
Stouffer's Welsh Rarebit, plus some thick sliced sourdough crusty bread from the toaster, is a nice late night snack that isn't quite dinner.
Pot stickers, steamed in a small covered nonstick I have, plus that steam in bag rice if I want it to be a meal.
Evol makes a butternut squash skillet dinner you dump in a skillet, has ice cubes of a sauce, and with kale bits and really rich sort of torteloni that gets seared nicely in a pan but you could nuke it.

in Canada, these are branded as Crave and they are gross. The worst part is how they advertise how much food it is and the overflowing bowls...only to be half full obviously and all taste like crap. The pulled pork was decent enough, but the mac and cheese was horrible. won't try the other ones because they also cost more than most other microwave food and you get smaller portion.

it's just the marketing, they make it seem like it's "bro" food so losers will buy them
