Why is it so hard for yuropoors to comprehend that America can have lowbrow foods like Kraft Singles, Boones Farm, and Bud Light while also producing world-class, award winning cheeses, beers, wines, etc.? How assblasted are these people really?

Europe is in its mid-life crisis. They lost their empires and most of their global relevance after WW2 and especially after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and they can't cope with the idea that they're no longer the example the world goes in awe of.

Really this is the essential angst of the EU too: it exists to make Europe relevant, but the partners involved can't stand sharing the spotlight with each other and just want to use it as a stepstool to promote their own magnificence.

Ex-Euro living in America now.
The problem is that while those world-class cheeses do exist, they're rare as fuck and unless you happen to be lucky enough to live near where they are produced, or near a major metropolitain center that has a speciality cheese shop, you will never find them. They are sufficiently rare that they might as not exist.

Look at the normal cheese that most supermarkets sell and that most customers buy any it is indeed garbage. That's what people are judging by: the standard that most people eat.

I do agree that there's some fucking amazing cheese here: Cato Corner Hooligan, Humbolt Fog, anything by Mystic, Jasper Hill Winnemere, etc....fucking god tier. I just wish the supermarkets would stock it so I wouldn't have to mail-order from places like Murrays.

>> No.13539688

Notice how all of those are from the coasts and sell under their own distinct name. The people screeching about muh judgment of paris for cheese are from Wisconsin and they unironically believe their sargento counterfeit yurocrap is actually good and if you question them they'll start spamming a folder full of saved maps showing that germans immigrated to wisconsin starting in 1851 as if that matters
