Here's a new York steak. Seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cooked in butter. The mushrooms were cooked along with the steak and I added cornstarch to make a sauce.

It's resting now.

Why do some people struggle so hard with sauteed mushrooms? Did you literally cook them in the same pan as the steak at the same time?

Its very good.
Hitting my yummy spot hard. Used a lot of butter so it.might be harder to finish than I thought. I made another one for later but it's probably going to be too much.

Is there only one way to saute mushrooms in your tiny reptilian brain? Is it insane to think of people putting mushrooms and onions into the same pan as their steaks to allow flavors to mingle? Does such a concept blow the flaps out of your skull wide open?

I have a bad habit of under cooking my steaks so I did experiment with a linger cooking time. I do not know what I am doing

Mushrooms release a ton of water when you cook them. You want a dry pan when searing meat. It's not rocket science. OP clearly had the heat turned way up, which is good for the steak, but the mushrooms look barely cooked, and just a little charred if anything - though it's hard to tell as I'm guessing his "pan sauce" is mostly a combination of mushroom water and char.

Of course it's dry, you cooked it well done. That's why steakhouse chefs save the shittiest steaks for faggots that order medium well done - it's going to have the flavor and texture of sawdust.

You don't have to do that. It'd be silly. The mushrooms cook just fine with the meat, same high heat.

Have you even once seen a trump speech with 40,000 laughing, cheering and admiring fans with another 10k outside who couldn't get in the door? There's a new speech in a new city every other night. Try taking your TV off of MSNBC or your laptop off of Facebook to see some real news sometime. Maybe stream something from a live source, nothing with a dickhead behind a microphone trying to keep their TV executive from firing them for being unbiased and anything but liberal. Only 30% of Americans identify as Democrat, and only some percentage of that number is socialist. A good number can't be bothered to go change their party affiliation or vote. They have lives. Thinking the whole US is liberal because 90% of the media is that way? It just means you aren't in reality. I went to high school with Chuck Todd. He's a phony liberal. No one thinks like that. People have to keep their jobs, from Pelosi to Sharpton. Everyone has an interest in making themselves still relevant. That's the business of politics. Ask yourself why a billionaire mayor of NY would work hard or bother to spend his own money to get elected, WTF for? Ask why. WTF is Hilary so desiring to be Prez anyway? She doesn't have some hard earned retirement years ahead? Warren? Saunders? Power. Screaming in anger and carrying on like they have aged related early Parkinson's or dementia? Biden can't grasp for any words or prevent a flub in any speech. Are these people Normal? I think not.
