I found some giant pasta shells in this shape called GIGANTI and I was very amused so I bought them so I could use them for the shells and cheese I was planning to make anyway. It turned out great and I know how to make a cheese sauce with a béchamel base now. The only thing was that I didn't notice until I had already poured the shells into the sauce that some of the shells were folded into each other and so not all of the surface area of the pasta was covered in sauce.
