to contribute: crab claw meat in a can or one of those bags is perfectly-good, and while being more expensive, it's a lot better. and it isn't too-far removed from crab leg meat from a fishmonger. problem is it is loaded with shell fragments

unless you are on a tight budget or somehow prefer the taste of krab, your local grocery definitely has real meat

Unless you live in a fishing area on the coast the price of canned usually doesn't justify the difference in quality compared to surimi.

Chick joints used to serve those multi colored shrimp chips before meals with hot mustard and duck sauce. It sucks that they don't do that anymore, now it's just those stupid soup noodles.
