What's the better option of these TWO options.

Keep a bag of these around in the freezer, or make a weekly trip to Taco Bell and buy a bunch of their burritos to heat up during the week?

>> No.13514629

Week old taco bell? Cmon man.

>> No.13514643

Maybe the taco bell depending how they taste reheated. I literally just one of those in your pic (bean & chees) like four hours ago. Didn't want to but was desperate.

I legit used to buy El Monterey, and then I discovered Taco Bell. Even if you only go 4-5 times a week Taco Bell is a much, much better option. Their burritos reheat much better than any frozen burrito, and they're a much better value. Taco Bell wins every day of the week, and I can't even imagine looking at a frozen burrito at this point in my life.

What's the goal? To save money or for convenience? If you're trying to save money, there are cheaper beef and bean burritos. For convenience and flavor, I would go for the frozen chimichangas which are still $1 each but you can get chicken or steak.

Taco Bell will taste better, but I wouldn't trust week old or even 2 day old taco bell leftovers. The frozen ones would last longer as they're made to.

I bought a pack of pic related last week based on recommendations here on /ck/ and they’re decent and I’ll buy them again, but they’re less than half the size of a Taco Bell burrito.

>> No.13516166

>>13516154

I should add that they were $3.49 for the 8-count package, which would work out to roughly 4 Taco Bell burritos.

The store bought burritos 100%
The ones you buy in the store will have preservatives in there to help them keep well over a week.
Taco Bell doesn't. It's intended to be eating at least the same day.

Either way though, you're not doing yourself any favors pursuing this diet.

Buy Teebz $1 burritos then freeze them. They even reheat quite well, I know from experience.

Ha. I bet I was the one that recommended them. I shill those all the time. I don't eat them often, since they're so freakin' unhealthy, but holy shit it's the only frozen burrito worth a damn.

Did I tell you to make them into enchiladas by covering them with cheddar and tapatio? If not, you should. One of my favorite quick junk food meals is three of those enchilada style, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and a big mountain dew. I do it less than once a year, but I look forward to it every time.

The chimichangas taste exactly the same

The whole point of a chimichanga is it's a burrito, but deep fried....those are literally the same as the burritos, if they were deep fried they'd be brown and crispy

dude i fucking adore the purple bagged el monterey, definitely that.
the last time i got a burrito at taco bell, all the onion sank to the bottom, not to mention that there was too much onion to begin with. del taco has better burritos, and at a much better price.
