Sticky short grain rice is easy to pick up with chopsticks. When I'm at a Chinese restaurant and they have long-grain rice that doesn't stick together, I just hold the bowl near my face and use the chopsticks to shovel the food into my mouth. I don't know if that's the correct technique, but Chinks aren't known for their table manners anyway.
