What did you get for Christmas? The wife knew I’m a hothead and got me some great hot sauces to add to my collection.

Drunk. Life is a swirling vortex of entropy. Everything we know, everyone we love, are doomed to the same fate. Death, decay, and disappearance from the memories of those that come after us, blissfully unenlightened as to the inevitability of their travel down the same path.
Your station in life is determined by factors beyond your own control. Learn to live for the moment, for life and love are transient states and effort’s only true reward is exhaustion and ennui.

as much as I love hot sauces, the culture around it suffers from the same things as weed culture, perfect example is the labels of those sauces and any hot sauce in general. Half of them are normal and even classy and you'd be proud to have it out on the dinner table for everyone and anyone to see, but then the other half is all DUDE SATAN'S ASSHOLE LMAO and the logo on the bottle is satan sucking his own dick.

My fake mom sent me something but I wrote RTS on it and USPS took it back. Then when she tried to call me about it (haven't spoken to here in two years) I texted her to leave me alone forever.

My roommate and I split a bottle of Four Roses single barrel.

I'm adopted but the only person I liked was the fake dad and he died because my fake mom pressured him into aggressive cancer treatment. In my experience she sucked the soul out of him over 3 decades and I'm not willing to go through the same. My roommate is my best friend I've known since kindergarten. We're 40 and straight. I'm completely fucked for relationships (see above) but he's got a slam pig fuckbuddy.

As the so called 'genetic fuck up' in question I'd recommend against adoption. Although I'd argue I'm more of a nurture than nature fuck up. One of the things I hated about the fake family is they stifled my intellectual curiosity because they were fucking idiots. I was the first and only one in that line to graduate college and it wasn't even their real seed.

I got some Maldon salt. I wanted some family reserve Tabasco, but I wanted other stuff more and Santa couldn't fit both in the budget. I figured a nice computer mouse will last much longer than 5 ounces of hot sauce, and it was only a few dollars more.

The Maldon salt is great on avocado tacos and eggs, which I eat often. I'm sure it's good on steak, but I haven't tried it yet. As for the Tabasco, I'll make do with the normal one. The 12 ouncer goes pretty quickly. I'm sure the 5 ounce Family Reserve would be gone in just a couple of weeks, if that.

What I REALLY wanted was some jerky or biltong. It would be hard to make it last more than a week, though. I fucking LOVE dried beef products.

none of those are particularly offensive, the most questionable being unicorn blood or headless horseradish if you don't appreciate the play on it being ghost pepper and horse radish and neither are awful

I dunno about their regular hot sauce, but torchbearer wing sauces are fucking nasty. Their first ingredients is fucking madarin oranges. What the fuck does that do in wing sauce? I haven't tried the buffalo sauce, but the chipotle one is nasty and doesn't coat properly and the honey garlic on is useless.

Got this. So from my very limited knowledge, an enameled cast iron pan is basically just a heavy pan? It gets no benefits of being a cast iron apart from heat retention, right? Was excited to finally have a cast iron pan and then realized it was enameled inside and out.
