For anyone who actually wants to know, McDonald's (and other fast food companies sometimes) LICENSES their name to products which are then sold retail at the grocery store. McDonald's has NOTHING to do with manufacturing the product, they just rented their NAME to a company that created this product, NOT their recipe. This happens across all industries by the way, not just food products.
