I work in a restaurant and we just throw pre-roasted sprouts in the deep fryer for 30 seconds before moving them to the oven to heat through. It's really not that complicated.

Good Sprouts

Preheat oven to 425
Halve or quarter your sprouts
One tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper(as much as desired)
Toss sprouts with oil and seasoning.
Take 3 pieces of thick cut bacon and lay them on a baking pan covering different sections of the pan.
Dump seasoned sprouts around bacon on your pan.
Put in oven till bacon is crispy stirring sprouts around during cooking.
In the time the bacon is cooking crumble or rice 1/4 of a cauliflower head.
Remove bacon once crispy and spread the riced/crumbled cauliflower around the pan into the bacon grease.
In this time dice up the bacon to desired chunks.
Wait till the sprouts are crispy and darkish then take out.
Drain off excess bacon grease and incorporate the bacon bits.
Serve
Add a tiny amount of sharp cheddar for extra richness.
