i only eat meat about once a week at most, when i feel like my body needs it. eating it more than that makes me get sick of it. i still eat a lot of dairy and eggs though. it just feels like my diet is lacking without them.

i don't think it's reasonable to expect everyone to give up things that we've evolved to benefit from being in our diet. trying to support the development of lab-grown meat might be a better way to help the animals.

I ate vaca vieja meat which translates to old cow, literally cows that have worked all their lives. Very marbled and intense flavour.

If these cows are butchered when they naturally die then for me it would be ok to eat them in a scenario where everything would be up to me.
