Canadian rye is based and quite tasty, my favourite isn't even expensive its 31 CAD a bottle and it's superior to most sour mash bourbons that I've had.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is really tasty. It tastes much older than I'm sure it is. The dark chocolate notes I get from it are similar to the dark chocolate notes in a 25 year old Armagnac I'm quite fond of. It's pretty richly flavorful.
