No (you) for you. Fucking retards. Japanese 7/11 is OBJECTIVELY better quality. It is managed completely differently for a completely different market. It is no only Japanese, but Korean and Taiwanese 7/11 which are markedly superior to their western counterparts. But you don't care do you? You are such a fucking pathetic waste of space your entire fucking persona is hating Japan. Why? Because you, in your unbelievable patheticness thought the only people worse than you were weebs. Depends on the western 7-11 (which were originally franchised out, so some stores were better than others).

They have some okay premade noodle stuff. I would not recommend the curry, you can just go somewhere else for a better quality and more veggie/meat filled place for the same price or a bit extra. The sandwiches and onigiri are always good. Then the fried chicken and buns are good.

It fills you up and it is cheap? Been to Family Marts and Lawsons in Japan, there's oden, sandwiches, fried chicken, sausage, potato croquettes etc. Similar with convenience stores, they have microwave ovens, hot water dispensers so you have access to hot food any time. Healthy food isn't a major concern when travelling overseas.
Like not eating fast food when at some rural airport and the flight is in 1 hour, don't be too picky. Or not eating at petrol stations stores even though they are the only place with food for another 2 hour drive.

Unironically the ATM.
You can get fast cash there with a US account with minimal fees. Which is great since Japan is a cash culture and very few establishments accept credit cards at all, outside of bigger stores.

They really bailed me out when I was running low on bills and no bank could assist.

Their manju buns are pretty good too.

>> No.13305845

>>13305808
I wouldn't go out of my way to try it but I won't turn my nose up at it either. It is literally just convenient food that is hot. Foreigners would like food they are familiar with (see the 7-11 and McDonald's overseas always packed near travelers?), so I don't blame them for going for a familiar place.
Can't expect them to know the ins and outs of the city they are spending less than a week in. Personal opinion here, I think they just like fried food and aren't too open to bento boxes with raw sashimi over them. They would probably like a tonkatsu over the rice than raw fish. Some travel with family and have picky eaters amongst them (boomers who only want fried chicken, steak & fries etc.) who never try local food.

>> No.13305863

>>13305829
Full transparency here, I would never buy a salad by choice unless it was served to me by my host. Also the issue of not trusting others to wash my vegetables before putting it in the salad etc.
But yes, that is a option for the health-conscious or vegetarians. I'd skip the cup ramen as well.

i have a job/housing situation where I can live there as long as I want and have 2 jobs for as long as i want them.
but Japan's only good when you're a single white male, or when you're dating a JP girl and/or playing the scene.
It's not where you want to get married and have kids. Shit's a trap.
