for breakfast i made potato pancakes with half mashed potatoes and half leavened flour, formed them into discs and fried them up. served it with some cold ham and a little bit of reheated oyster stuffing
for lunch i took the leftover potato pancakes and set them on the plate. i filled my saucepan with about 1/2 in of turkey stock i saved and threw in the leftover turkey i salvaged from yesterday, covered it and boiled it for about 2 minutes on medium-high heat. drained the broth and served it up perfectly moist and juicy as yesterday. spread some butter and cranberry on two slices of bread, put the turkey over it and smothered it in turkey gravy, making openface turkey sandwiches
thank you for coming to my blog

I made a nice turkey salad with apples, celery, sliced grapes and mayo, and made small sandwiches on rolls with it. My parents both liked it, they are trying to eat more fruits and vegetables.

Earlier I made more normal sandwiches. I smeared stuffing and a bit of turkey fat on toasted bread. Then I added turkey heated in gravy and some crispy fried onions. The onions were a very nice addition. Both types of sandwiches were well received.

Looks like turkey with gravy, what I’m assuming are yams with way too much marshmallow, stuffing and some kinda bacon Mac and cheese. On the other plate looks like stuffed shells and cranberry sauce.

For the amount I eat I still maintain a weight considered normal according to the BMI scale. I eat a lot because I exercise. Though it seems only thanksgiving food doing something to my stomach. Normally I don't get gas like this.

I'm gonna start into my leftovers tomorrow. There are about three-to-four servings left of everything (I only roasted a small turkey tit).

I was thinking that next year, I'll spring for the Popeyes turkey. If any o'y'all have had it, waddidja think? Any good? Or would I be the first of us to have it?
If I get it, I'll still be making my usual sides.

The fried chicken place Popeyes takes orders for fried Thanksgiving turkeys from the first day of November through to TG eve. It's fully cooked, but sold cold so you have to heat it up in your oven at home. Costs $40+ (depending on your location) for a 12lb (cooked weight) bird and comes with no sides other than Cajun turkey gravy.
I've read mixed reviews.

I made turkey, stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes and Chef John's French onion green bean casserole today. Nobody came over. I'm not doing friendsgiving anymore. Certain amount of friends needed for this to work.
