I want to save some more money so I want to begin bringing my own food to work instead of buying something. I was thinking of sandwiches, any recommended recipes?

Go on a board that isn't full of cunts who only eat fast food and argue about America.
But my fave is
>chopped chicken
>sundried tomatoes
>chopped chicken
>pesto
>alfalfa sprouts from garden
>bread I make at home

Sandwiches are a meme lunch. I mean they are great and all, but if you wanted to save money it's not the best way to go.

Best way to save money for lunches is left overs of meal prep.

Fig, prosciutto and mascarpone.

Just try meal prep. By day 2 it'll be freezer burnt as shit and taste even blander than the first day. Wa la, you won't eat as much anymore if it all tastes like catshit

Sandwiches are simple af...

Why would you freeze it? Fridge keeps the usual foods just fine for a week.

Seems like the way to do it is to make a small amount of 4-6 dishes and vary up the combinations throughout the week

Muffuletta, good hot or cold and best made the night before.

Use whatever bread you prefer with a little olive oil spread on the insides. Order (bottom to top):

Salami
Ham
Swiss
Provolone
Mortadella (or Olive Loaf or Bologna)
Salami
Olive Salad

>> No.13293557

Sourdough bread
Cayenne hummus
Parmaesan(or whatever)cheese
One half avocado sliced
Spinach(or whatever green you prefer)
More cheese
Cayenne hummus on the other piece of bread

Not true really, leftovers and all are never as good as freshly made you meal prep faggots are inferior human beings.

>> No.13293894

>>13293617
Depends how you make it. If you make it like pic related then no shit, but it's pretty easy to scale it down so it's comparable to an italian sub.

Pack the bread separately so it doesn't get soggy.

certain combinations of ingredients work well together, but you already knew that and just wanted to be a faggot

>> No.13293912

Agreed. Meal prep is useless, tasteless, and a waste of money. Best strategy is just eat leftovers if you have them or prepare a sandwich/salad/snacks (which can be easily changed up with a small set of ingredients anyway.).

If that's really all you have going for you, so you get to pretend you're superior to others?

Have fun with that.

it's a work sandwich just fucking make whatever. Don't be "That guy" at work who brings in artisan "home-made" sandwiches with fancy ingredients. Unless you work at a soi farm or something.
