There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich, that's about it.

>> BUG FARMS DESTROY THE ENVIRONMENT! STOP EATING BUGS!

It really doesn't matter what you do. Eco-Fascists will find reasons to pretend to be morally superior and hate what you eat.

We eat plenty of sea bugs (shrimp) and these environmentalist wackos keep trying to shut down aqua farms because they cause too much "pollution."

Bottom line, don't try to appease the environmental wackos because you will never be able to.

>> No.13263618

Get some medium sized fresh shrimps, with shells still on, legs intact.

Finely mince some garlic, chilli peppers, little ginger, mix together. You'll need to make about 2 tbs worth of that. For about a lbs of shrimp.

Chop about two stalks of green onions up as well.

In a wok or frying pan fry all the herbs and spices until the garlic is basically crispy. Doesn't take long. Set aside.

Add a good amount of oil into the wok, let it heat up really nice to frying range.
Take the shrimp, shell, tail, legs and all lightly dip into some flour and fry them up in the oil, when they are cooked toss them into spices with a bit of rice vinegar until they are fully coated.

I want to know how bugs are supposed to be a better for of food? 100 pounds of meat is almost 100% edible and digestible. 100 pounds of bugs is going to be about 50% Chitin which is mostly undigested.

in crustaceans at least it is easy to remove the exoskeleton and get to the tasty meats inside. sorry even if I was inclined to eat crickets I don't want to chew on basically fingernails.
