I stopped by the one in Hudson Yards, NYC a few days ago. 10.19$ for a double SmokeShack, 3.09$ for the fries. A beer would have run around ~8$. That's about 23$ and change after tax.

There's a reason I very, very rarely get burgers when I'm eating out. It's so easy and multiple orders of magnitude cheaper to make them yourself.

I pay that much for a burger, fries, and beer, except that's with tip, I get two beers, the beers come in proper glasses, the fries are nicer than something I can get for $3 per pound at my grocer's freezer, I don't have to wait in line for anything because seated at the bar, and one of several sassy big titty bartenders will bust my balls while I'm there.
