Tonight I got this Zorzal Cuatro de Cuatro. $23, a bit cheaper than the California stuff I got earlier in the week, unsurprisingly since all new world wines are overpriced.

This one is filtered, less overt oak despite supposedly spending a year in barrels, I can taste the skins more with this stuff compared to the california shit although I did appreciate the lack of filtration

The "put a bird on it" branding caused this wine to be ignored by me for years until I realized it was just what I was looking for
