That doesn't make any sense but its still hilarious.
I applied to a Hardee's in North Carolina and didn't get hired. I'm still mad.

Two different companies merged. They use the original names in the areas close to where they started because brand recognition is very important.
Somewhat related: Chuck E Cheese was actually bought out by Showbiz Pizza, but they decided to change all their names to Chuck E Cheese because it was the more widely recognized name.

You think you were making a hilarious joke here, but what you just showed is how deeply ingrained the tranny agenda is in your head. You can't even read "general" without automatically making the connection to "gender". You need to take a step back. Realize what your excessive internet usage is doing to your mind. Step outside for once and breathe the fresh air. Alternatively kill yourself.

Alot of times one was bought by the other but the name stays because of brand recognition.

For me, it's that sweet 8a government money that caused my family to create a sister company and put a black guy in charge.

I live in that border area (Oklahoma), and I remember when Hardee's switched to Carl's Jr. exclusively. The initial switch to CJ's meant better hamburgers, but fuck did I hate their sexualized marketing. After a while though, every one I ever visited seemed mismanaged into complete decay. Disgusting facilities, bad food quality, greasy burgers, druggy staff.

Hardee's never seemed to take that same hit in quality over the years whenever I go to Arkansas and have it there, but its current state does not approach how Carl's Jr BTFO literally every other fast food burger in the early to mid 2000's.

tl;dr Carl's Jr 15 years ago>Hardee's now, but Hardee's now>>>>>>>CJ's now

Like any chain, it's down to the people running it just as much as it is the supply and logistics end of corporate. It just seemed like Carl's Jr really cleaned house when they first took over, then gradually fell into decline as a brand. Hardee's has always been consistent, but again there was something about that CJ's early period that was kind of a fast food renaissance around here of sorts.

That's not how names work. They would have to introduce a Carl's Jr. Jr., at which point the current Carl's Jr. would become just Carl's and Carl's would become Carl's Sr.
