The rolls were cheap walmart brand but they were good. I tried using neufchatel cheese because its more creamy and neutral and would keep the greasiness from saturating the bread. I used a cheap chuck beef 70/30 for the patties so there was plenty of grease. But the flames licked the fat and gave the patties a crispy outer texture even though i cooked them rare.

They turned out ok. Not anything spectacular but the flavor combination worked. Not overbearing salty notes from the burgers but because of that the smokey flavor of the red pepper complimented the char grilled beef. The onion came through as well and worked well with the grilled zucchini. I enjoyed it with some strong beer. More like a ryewine or barleywine. Nutty and spiced flavors that worked pretty well with it as it would with anything grilled. And its a great kinda meal to have when its cold out.

Onna plate btw. I made with with a side of arborio rice. A little butter. pecorino and chicken broth made it pretty good. Basic and simple but not bland. Not really a risotto but in the same vein i would say.

Bells makes great beer but its for sure overpriced. As a hoosierfag i prefer taxman but they were out of the proper quad belgian beer i normally go for. Their tripel is choice but i wanted something a little bit darker. I also love lagunitas gnarleywine.

I grew up on the east coast and my family moved to the midwest when it became clear the politicians are only appealing to niggers and welfare queens. I was 10 at the time so i had no control over the matter. I will say this though, theres not a trouble in the world that cant be calmed for a moment by looking out at the ocean. All micro-brews are expensive for what is essentially the same ingredients as Budweiser but they taste a hell of a lot better and as I only drink 2-3 beers on Sunday while watching the Lions, the cost isn’t an issue.
