Normally I'd do oatmeal with peanut butter, flax, granola and chia seeds or a tofu scramble tater tot wrapped in a tortilla for breakfast.

A PB&J with Sun Chips for lunch

I literally can't fathom a nice meal without dairy or any animal protein whatsoever.
Guacamole and tortillas? Nice, but that'd just count as an appetizer at best.
Rice and beans? Yeah but i'd still crave some form of meat alongside it.
Falafels? Then again, falafels without yogurt/white sauce sounds bland and boring.
Mushroom ravioli?
Same as above, without a creme based sauce it'd just suck.

Being a vegan means you willingfully deprive yourself of all the tastiest things and the best food combinations in the whole world.
No more salmon? No more crème fraîche? No more caviar? No more steak?? No more cheese????
Vegans are simply masochistic people who parade their supposed morals when they're casual degenerates in their everyday lives.
I mean, for the most part, they're the same people who say meat is murder but go out in the streets to proclaim that abortion is a human right.

From what I've witnessed, veganism is a sort of mental illness, aka delusion coupled with cognitive dissonance and self harm.

Well, I actually had the start of heart disease when I found out in my mid-20's because I was doing keto. It'll fuck you up.
But even before that I was eating SAD and various paleo and Mediterranean diets for a time but still felt like shit.
Eating 100% vegan and 90% WFPB is how it's been for me the last 3.5 years. Zero regrets.
It's funny, just before I started keto and "tried veganism" but was living on low-carb salads and berries.

Most people aren't athletes and even athletes will retire and grow old. This is about long--term health. Still, I'm sure those athletes blood-work numbers aren't ideal. But they probably exercise enough to avoid any severe insulin resistance and certainly obesity. When you're young, look young and feel young why change?
