Hi, I have been fat my entire life. I want to change that, I grew up with many unhealthy habits and large portions. Generally lots of fried/fast food. I live in the Bronx and I wanted some ideas on how to eat healthier. The usual super markets near me are either spanish or sort of a mix with a italian so my options are limited. What are some healthy alternatives I could add to my life that arent some hard to find products? Lately I discovered mixing spinach with lots of jalepeno peppers and blue cheese, I added some salami to it and it was fantastic too.

I would imagine it's uncomfortable knowing any woman you want would rather have black dick than yours.

This is a board for respectful discussion. Homophobic slurs have no place here.

Honestly, just use what you have around.

Learn to oven bake or grill chicken with a bunch of local spices and local veg. Cut sugar in all forms, drink more water, also walk for exercise

Cutting sugars may be the hardest part since I do love sweets, and my daily coffee is about 4 spoons of sugar but I will do my best. I bought plenty of water so ill make my best to make the swap. Is there a coffee alternative? Or coffee without sugar

Salads are great. Also: ceviche.
>onions
>cilantro, salt, pepper
>jalapeno pepper
>tomato
>mango if you fux with that, or corn
>tilapia (make sure it's fresh though)
>dice everything, mix it in a bowl, cover it with enough lime juice to submerge, fridge for ~6 hours. The citric acid will cook the fish.
Beans and rice are a complete protein but high calorie, so make some veggies on the side. You can also make baked or broiled chicken or fish.

What subway are you near? You can maybe take the train down to Chinatown once a week and stock up, they have tons of fresh veggies, fruit, and fish and it's all cheap.

Also, avoid sugary drinks! Drinking your calories is a big pitfall to a lot of people trying to lose weight.

Try reducing the amount of sugar you take in your coffee slowly. You don't need to cut out coffee, just be mindful of how much you sweeten it. And you don't have to cut out sweets entirely, just eat them in moderation. Maybe try limiting dessert to one day a week so it's not "forbidden" or too tempting, but you're also not eating a ton of it.
