kangaroo isnt for everyone lol. if not done right its tough as fk and it always has a distinct taste not everyone agrees with. The classic Aussie BBQ is about getting together with your mates to discuss with footy team is gonna make it/ or cricket while making sure the kids arnt getting into too much trouble (little shits run around fast). Is less aboutt he food and much more about the social aspect.

Aussie here can confirm most Aussie bbqs are dogshit bunnings sausage sizzle tier where the sausages are 50% meat at most and mixed with boring white flour and no spice
I buy home made chicken German style sausages from local iga and they are fucking amazing
Most of aus has no taste or tolerance for spicey food
Roo meat is a meme it's not very tasty too gamey
Croc is great but hard to find
