Rate my first ever attempt at making an omelette. Please. I added 5 eggs and cheese. I used a pan

Looks okay, but too much cheese, too many eggs. What style of omelet were you going for? French, Waffle House, American?

It's not awesome but if it's your very first one, not bad man. I have no idea why you'd use 5 eggs though, unless this were served with rice for lunch or something.

Should add some onions or hot sauce. 5 eggs is a lot for no extra flavors. Above all thank you for posting on topic content, I'll do an omelette in a bit to add to the thread.

I'd eat it. Looks a little bit too done though. Omlettes are really good with the eggs in the middle a little runny

Bit hefty for breakfast, I would think. I won't go into the feng shui of eating 3 jumbo eggs at a time because they come in a pack of 12. I mean, let's break this down into measurement. 5 large eggs with yolk is about 500 calories. Would you have prefer to allocate some of those to something else? 300 calories of eggs and 200 of bacon or sausage? I'm not shitting on 5 eggs or calling him fat or telling him it's overeating, he's a big boy, he can buy and eat as many eggs as he wants. Just saying, without rancor, it's my feeling 5 eggs is 2 too many. I don't know, maybe I'm living in a false dichotomy that I've gone my whole life thinking 3 eggs is 'just right.'

Desi’s Restaurant up in Oscoda MI makes a great corned beef hash omelette but unfortunately nobody hereabouts in metro Detroit does.

It would be absolutely amazing to convert that into a breakfast burrito. Shove that omelette and breakfast potatoes into a toasted tortilla with a healthy schmear of horseradish.

>> No.13029306

I'll make an omelette when I get home from class to add to the thread. I'm not very good at it and they usually just end up as scrambled eggs.

Well fug, burned my butter right out of the gate and then let me eggyboi sit about 30 seconds too long. Oh well, daily attempt. Also it's hot sauce.

The cornerstone on dix and eureka in Southgate has decent corned beef.
