Egg Tip: if you poke a tiny hole in the shell before boiling or steaming, the egg will be easier to peel.

I steam soft boiled eggs that are held vertically in a silicone ice cube tray with the hole up, and it is interesting watching the bubbles sputter out of the holes. The peeling is somewhat easier, though I will have to try this many more times to verify and perfect the method.
