what is the appeal of craft beer? The old European breweries are cheaper and better quality

Do you know if you can get that sort of stuff in America? I’ve wanting to try some but allthe local liquor stores around me don’t have any real European imports mostly just domestic shit like Budweiser and local craft stuff.

Yea man, just do a little searching around and you’ll find at least one or two specialty beer shops in your area. Harris Teeter and Lowes Food also usually have Warsteiner, Weihnstephaner, and Chimay. I even found Ayinger at a nicer Food Lion.

i don't know where you're buying beer, but in my area the better quality european beers are usually slightly more expensive than local craft beers.

Real craft beer is produced in quantities too small to have a useful number of reviews

For me it’s beer advocate, as long as it’s above 3.5 stars it’s good enough for me
