mines from louisiana and makes amazing cajun food in cast iron and even has a passion for finding shitty rusty cast iron and refinishing it to like new.
that being said i cook most nights. i enjoy cooking and have a wider variety of foods i'm better at cooking.
here's the last cast iron pot we refinished. this is usually for gumbo at this point.

Don't have a wife, but my sister cooks for me on the regular. Recently she has been getting into making jam, so that's been a nice little adventure after a bit of few failures.
Can't really say anything bad about her cooking, just that I wish I could do more of it myself since I enjoy it as well, but I'm not gonna complain to coming back home to dinner already prepared.

Yes, my gf used to work for a Ritz Carlton restaurant. She cooks French and Japanese most of the days, but she also likes experimenting and she tries new food as much as she can when we travel abroad. She recently made some Georgian stew, so it’s not only French or Japanese. I can buy whatever the fuck I want and she will manage to make something great.
