I'm working on 4 dollars a meal and trying to make meals that are tasty, not necessarily good looking. My girlfriend and I loved it and that's all that matters to me, friend. I'm always open for some ideas though!

Butterfly your chicken breasts, pound them flat and evenly, then season and bread them (you can literally leave old bread on the counter to dry and then smoosh it for that). Pick a tomato sauce that doesn't look like ketchup. Use the cheese the dish calls for rather than a pre-shredded starch-covered blend. And serve it with a goddamn vegetable, you manchild.

Hardly any extra cost and whaddya know, you actually have chicken parm instead of cheddar ketchup chicken.

My girlfriend and I enjoy these. What if I have nothing to pound it with? I'm in a top floor apartment, so that would also make a lot of noise. The tomato sauce's color was drastically changed through the camera, and this is the cheese I had on hand. I was making a simple, easy meal for my girlfriend and I, and just wanted to have a fun thread with some people on here, and I'm sorry if my "cheddar ketchup chicken" really was that offensive to see. I appreciate the breadcrumbs suggestion though.
