Do you have any tricks you use to enhance really cheap instant noodles? The ramen i buy only comes with a packet full of fake chicken soup mix. Pictured is my attempt today. I fried some sliced chicken in chicken bouillon concentrate and butter. I scraped some of the cooked crap off the bottom of the pan and tossed it in the noodles while it was cooking. I also threw the flavor packet in and some frozen broccoli. The red color came from the cooked crap i think. Typically i just do the fried chicken slices by itself but this time i wanted to experiment.

Trash the instant crap and make your own with real noodles and your own broth. It’s almost as cheap and infinitely more delicious.

A spoonful of peanut butter gives more of a pad thai flavor.

Dropping in a egg while boiling to poach it.

Adding a spoonful of oil/fat and soysauce, and crushed pepper flakes is good.

Adding an egg is a great way to boost ramen. Poached in the broth, soft boiled, just cracked into the boiling water and stirred to make egg drop ramen, pretty much any way to cook an egg would work well.
Also if you're going to be cooking chicken or whatever to put in the ramen, you should do it in the same pot you're gonna be making the ramen in. That way when you add the water to boil the noodles you'll also deglaze the fond that formed, really boosting the flavor.
Try adding different spices to the ramen, the variety will help you get past the monotony of eating ramen every day and will help you learn what spices work well together.
Finally, a way that I like to cook ramen sometimes is to turn it into a sort of yakisoba style dish. In a sautee pan add a cup of water, a tbsp of butter, the ramen and the spice packet it came with. Cook on medium high and just keep it moving until all the water evaporates and rehydrates the noodles. Lower to medium and fry in the remaining butter until it's browned to your liking. Crack an egg in if you'd like, too. It works really well as a way to have to have ramen in a pretty different way so you don't get bored of it as easily.

These are all pretty good ideas. Thanks. I typically fry precooked chicken in some kind of sauce so that it gets either crispy or a burnt on coating. makes the chicken tastier

Finished the bowl. If you boil broccoli in it makes the soup part way better. The broth left over tasted amazing with the (burned up butter?) and broccoli boiled in there

If you're not adding rice, kimchi, cheese, and bacon to your ramen I really don't know what you are doing with your life tbqh fmalama.

Add sliced leek whites for texture, flavor, and to pretend it’s healthy. Boil the leaves in the broth and take them out at the end for extra leek flavor.

Why not make a real meal at that point? Just make a stir fry retard

For me it’s:
>bok choy
>thinly sliced onion
>thinly sliced peppers
>raw Thai Chili sliced thin
>cayenne pepper
Put into pot while cooking packaged ramen and it will all be ready in 2 minutes
