From what I remember pretty shitty and everyone you work with it's like their first job and they're incompetent or they're lifers who have given up. Customers were rude in the evenings and at night because the McDicks was within walking distance of two bars. I remember always walking home smelling like a McAbomination. My managers were tools except for this one chick who went to the same highschool as me. From what I remember all I spent my money on was weed and CD's.
This was 23 years ago though.

I've had friends who worked at lil Caesars with very similar complaints to mine - bad pay, lame customers, incompetent and/or dumb managers, incompetent, dumb and/or criminal coworkers.
But I worked night shift, so we made a lot of our own fun. Smoking on break, blasting porn through the loudspeaker at 3am, jerking off in the ladies' room - the classics.
I don't miss it, and the time would've been better spent working at fucking Walmart or literally anything else.

It was the owners first experience with a restaurant and first time owning a business. She had no fucking clue what she was doing. I only worked there for 6 months, pretty much the only reason I got the job was to be able to buy music, drugs, being able to do shit with my friends and being able to buy food whenever I wanted. I tried to stick around long enough to afford a computer but that didn't happen till 2002. I don't even remember what minimum wage was back then but it was totally shit. It was worth it relative to my priorities back then because they were quite simple and I was young and reckless. Never worked fast food ever again after that.

Its fucking gross, hot and sweaty working the friers you constantly smell like fried chicken and my bitch of a manager only wanted things cooked to order so we always had tons of complaints about how food was never ready because chicken took at least 20 minutes minimum to be ready for serving.

I worked for a national pizza chain when I was 18/19. Luckily i was just a delivery driver and our store wasn't a full restaurant it was just one of those carry out/delivery outposts so most customer interaction was minimal. Coworkers were all dipshit retards apart from one or two exceptions. I hated being in the store. Loved the delivery part. This was before GPS too. Just had a big wall on the map. Had to know the area well. But slow days were the worst. Folding boxes, mopping, cleaning. All that shit was delegated to the delivery drivers if it was slow. Best days were when you got back out on the road with a couple more deliveries right away. My memories aren't as exciting as others but it was an okay gig.
