Beergut. I modified a cabbage soup recipe to actually be tasty and I've been making batches of it to stave off cravings. I'm already down a notch on my belt. The goal is to get it down to the last notch on my belt before the holidays.

Does this really happen? I'm not a fast food person, but that looks horribly unbalanced and it wouldn't taste good after the first couple bites, and it would be incredibly annoying to eat.

I should, but this is ready in under an hour, plus knifework. I've made some killer stocks, but this soup forgoes it in favor of being a soup that's easy enough to while sick or in the middle of the week. A stock made to my specifications would take a minimum of six hours to simmer.
