if you sprout or ferment the whole grains prior to cooking, you can neutralize the bad shit. fermentation is king. read "nourishing traditions" by sally fallon. and remember, brown rice is NOT a whole grain. its partially milled. black rice, forbidden rice, those are whole grain .very challenging to eat. brown rice wont germinate i believe, too much is removed. the japanese have multiple levels of milling, go to a japanese store to check them out or online. whats that one called, Haiga. probably just need to ferment it if it wont sprout.
