Thoughts on pad thai? I always like getting it with chicken and 1 or 2 levels of spicy

Pad Thai isn't supposed to be spicy

But is there any real harm in making it spicy?

If I’m getting Thai I’m getting duck curry, actually really like the tomatoes, basil, and pineapple thing they got going on

Are the noodles supposed to stick together so much at the end, or am I doing it wrong?

>order panang curry in Chiang Mai
>it's fantastic
>try to make it myself at home
>it's ok

I mean, I shouldn't expect to be able to match an actual Thai restaurant, but I was still disappointed.

That's been my experience, but I don't eat it very often and it was at Noodles & Co so there's no accounting for quality.

I lived In Thailand for a while and even the 7/11 Panang curries were GOAT.

English is a foreign language for me and I'm a little drunk, so describing the degree of stickiness in a nuanced way is a little challenging for me right now.

Some of the noodles just start sticking together and form a little noodle ball that you can't even disentangle using a fork. Most of the noodles are just a little sticky, but I was just wondering whether that's the normal result or whether I'm doing something wrong.

It sure as hell is if I'm paying for it.

nah, that's way too sticky. stir harder so all the noodles get separated.

Don't hate, the meal worms are halfway between popcorn and french fries. Also high in protein. Whenever I would drink with Thai people they would get an order of them, goes great with beer.

The crickets I'm not sold on but they were much less common.
