Dates are good, but after a couple, the sweetness is too much. Cherries are great too. If you have a real sweet tooth, try making some fruit soup. It'll give you something sweet to eat and will last you a few days

Put a bunch of sweet frozen fruits like blueberry, cherry, peach into a slow cooker with 1 liter of peach or apple juice. Throw some vanilla and cinnamon in as well for added flavour. The liquid turns into a nice syrup and because it's warm, feels almost like eating a dessert like apple pie, but with much less calories. If that still isn't sweet enough for you, half a cup of sugar should do the trick. I make this shit all the time though, and never felt the need for sugar

That's sounds good but it's probably not. Why doesn't anyone else make fruit soup?

It's actually somewhat popular in northern Europe. Well it was before kebabs took over. A quick google search will give you many recipes

>> No.12869997

>>12869994
Yes, and if you plan on eating it cold, I suggest adding gelatin. Not too much where the whole thing becomes jello. That being said, it is way better hot imo

>> No.12870012

>>12869997
There's no real reason to follow online recipes, just add the fruit you want, the juice you want, cinnamon/vanilla for flavour. Maybe sugar and maybe gelatin. Not a complex dish and very customizable

Kumquats are small, and pretty tasty. The peels are super sweet which provides pretty neat juxtaposition to the sour flesh.
