I was sorta forced to buy somewhen went off raiding in CO. The Jeep outfitter we rented from only had these for sale, and canned cokes/sprite. No other stores were within reasonable distance so ended up getting them for us. They work awesome and are super durable, but the lid it comes with is a little awkward, so buy an aftermarket one that has a slide to open/drink (rather than have to take the whole cap off.)

>> No.12855276

>>12855270
Oh shit I didn't know I could get a better lid. Thanks for the heads-up.

based.
Everything tastes better in glass because there's literally zero leaching or residue of any kind.

Milk in glass is better too.

Metal bottles are worse than plastic when it comes to giving off taste. They not only do that but also make your mouth feel tinny.

The point is there's no reason to pay for the brand name. You can get no-brand vacuum flasks on Amazon or elsewhere for fairly cheap and there's nothing magical about the branded ones, it is just a waste of money.

They work the same as the cheap ones

I bought one cause I couldn't handle the pressure from my colleagues about having a walmart brand Ozark Trail 48 ounce water bottle, which is also vacuum sealed and double walled for literally a 1/4 of the price. Ended up giving it to my sister and she uses it everyday. It's just a status symbol desu, but i'll admit, I did feel classier
